Does Pablo contact my clients when it imports a session?
Pablo doesn't send your clients anything when it books, moves or cancels a session from your calendar.
How often does Pablo check my calendar?
About every fifteen minutes during your working hours. To check right away, choose Check calendars on your calendar. Last checked beside it shows when Pablo last looked.
Which calendar does Pablo import from?
The one you choose. In calendar setup, it's under Keep importing new sessions, in the From list. Later, it's in Settings > Calendars. If you don't choose, Pablo uses your main Google calendar.
Sessions you book in Pablo go to the calendar you chose when you connected: a separate Pablo calendar, or your main Google calendar.
Why did Pablo add one session and ask about another?
When a session on your Google Calendar shows a client's full name, and only one of your active clients has that name, Pablo adds it to your calendar in Pablo. It does the same for a repeating session you've already answered. Afterwards, Pablo shows you what it added, with Undo on each.
When Pablo can't be sure, it asks you instead of guessing. That covers initials, a shortened name, a name two clients share, and a client who isn't active. Other events, like a dentist appointment, show as busy time.
To have Pablo ask about every session instead, turn off Add sessions that show a client's full name in Settings > Calendars.
Can I move a session in Pablo that came from my calendar?
It depends on how it came in.
- Brought in with Keep importing new sessions: move it where you booked it, and Pablo moves it on its next check. In Pablo, the time shows "The time follows your Google Calendar."
- Added once with Scan calendar: the series is Pablo's own. You can move it in Pablo.
What happens if I disconnect Google Calendar?
Your appointments, sessions and notes stay in Pablo, including the ones it imported. Pablo stops importing, and your Pablo calendar stays on Google, so reconnecting uses it again.
Will clients be able to book over my other appointments?
Not if you allow Check for scheduling conflicts when you connect. Pablo won't offer a time your Google Calendar shows as busy, and it leaves the gap you set between sessions. That holds on booking pages, in the client portal and when Pablo suggests times. You can still book a busy time yourself; Pablo checks with you first.
