Import sessions booked elsewhere

Watch: Import sessions booked elsewhere into Pablo (2 min)

If another system adds your sessions to your Google Calendar, keep booking there. Pablo can import them, so they appear on your calendar in Pablo too.

1. Choose the calendar to import from

In calendar setup, at Import recurring sessions, select Keep importing new sessions. Then, under From, choose the calendar your sessions are on.

You can change this later in Settings > Calendars.

2. How Pablo decides

Pablo checks that calendar about every fifteen minutes during your working hours.

  • A session that shows a client's full name, when only one of your clients has that name: Pablo adds it to your calendar in Pablo.
  • When Pablo can't be sure, like initials or two clients with the same name: Pablo asks you instead of guessing. See When Pablo asks who a session is.
  • Other events, like a dentist appointment, show as busy time.

3. See what Pablo added

Pablo shows you what it added: Pablo added 3 sessions from your Google Calendar. Choose Undo next to any you don't want.

To have Pablo ask about every session instead, turn off Add sessions that show a client's full name in Settings > Calendars.

When a session moves

Change it where you booked it. Pablo moves it on its next check. In Pablo, the session's time shows "The time follows your Google Calendar."

To look right now, choose Check calendars. Last checked beside it shows when Pablo last looked.

If Pablo can't read your calendar

Your calendar shows Pablo can't read your Google Calendar. Choose Reconnect and sign in to Google again.
